first post in 2012.

the only reason why i try to maintain this blog is because it holds too much memories. this blog has been with me for the past 7/8 years, and i can't bear to not update it. the good thing about this blog is that not much people knows about it and so, technically, no one except myself is reading this. so, i can rant as much as i like over here. yes, i can do that in fb, in twitter, but i feel that i don't have much privacy over there, not that i have much here as almost anyone can read this.

oh wells, anyways,

i just finish watching 我可能不会爱你, and i actually took a month to finish it. i don't really have the mood to watch drama back in singapore. but since i have some time these few days, i should finish it. wasted my weekends, but, it was pretty worth it. the ending was really what i expected, the drama kind of sweet ending kind, but the whole process was really 贴近人民, and i can actually relate to part of it, surprisingly.

我也要一个像李大仁的最好朋友! i have been thinking how fantastic it will be to have a really good guy friend, seems like it's really good. hahha.

i have no idea what i want to blog about, i just feel like updating this space, and so here i am. i've been blog-hopping and found that many have not been updating their blogs and i feel so disappointed, cus i really love reading blogs, then it occur to me, i've not been updating too. not that anyone reads it, but just in case anyone randomly visits this space, at least they have something to read about.

well, it's the exams period now and my first paper only starts on friday. so i've been coping myself in my room since last friday as lessons ended on thursday. during this period of 5 days, i've been watching videos for the whole day. i managed to finish 2 dramas within this period. and i felt that i need to go out and take a walk today. so i went grocery shopping. feels really good to step out of the house and into the cold. hahah. but i was so well-dressed that i was sweating inside the layers of sweater. it's either i've dressed too much, or the jacket i wore today can keep a person really warm(wore this new jacket which i bought recently). and i think it's really beautiful today cus the place is covered in snow, as it was snowing the whole of last night. i saw the weather forecast yesterday and i thought it would snow today, but too bad it didn't when i left home. and now, the snow has melted, no longer so white anymore. i hope before i leave, it will snow more and i can go to the arboretum to take really pretty pictures.

okay, this is a really random post. i'm supposed to be studying, but im just too lazy/sick of studying, well, after all, i just need a pass. before i even step into the exam hall, i know that i need less than 10 marks for most of my papers to pass, that explains why im still so slack right now. my SEP is going to end in 10days time. i should truly slack and enjoy while i can cus once im back home, it will be full force studying already.

okay, i should post some photos here to make this post less boring. i'll upload some photos which have not been uploaded onto fb, well, they are probably not going to appear on fb anyways.

there are so many big patches of grass that looks like this and the clouds just make the whole place look so beautiful. i believe when it snows, the whole place will be covered in white and will look equally pretty.

we actually went to Niagara Falls in september, like 2 weeks after i reach. but i was so lazy to upload the photos onto fb at that time, so it will probably not appear on fb anymore. hahah.

the girls:) things will be so much different without each and everyone of them. im so so so glad to have known them and thankful to have them here.

the fall, i have actually been there 2 years ago but it was during winter time, when it was so damn freaking cold. being there in september when it was still warm, i had the chance to truly appreciate the beauty of the fall. hahha.

the bus which we took to the falls, totally reminds me of magic school bus. haha.

i love the variety of pastries they have over here and they are surprisingly cheaper compared to those at home and they all taste so delicious.

hi my dear blog, it's been a long time since i've visited here. and i doubt anyone visits here since there's no updates or whatsoever. but anyways, i need to rant rant rant.

my SEP is going to end soon already, tomorrow is going to be the second last day of lessons and exams are going to start next week. less than three weeks later, i'm going to leave Guelph already. i actually can't wait to go home cause i miss everything at home. my room, tv, mummy, papa, my didis, my friends, food and everything.

but i know i'm going to miss here too. people here are so nice, friendly, filled with smiles, encouraging, etc etc. and it feels really good to live on campus, being able to go back my my room during breaks, able to wake up 1/2hr earlier before lesson starts and still be there on time, being able to visit the gym as and when i like and i like that fact that we pay food here using meal plan so that we dun have to take out cash all the time. yea, Canada is really a nice place to live in and i dun mind migrating here in future. of course, i still prefer to live in singapore where all my friends and family are, and i love singapore:D

oh well, the end of SEP also means that im returning to NUS soon. this is something which i'm totally not looking forward to and the only thing which makes me not want to return home. or i should put it this way, i look forward and i can't wait to go home, but i dread going back to NUS and i dun want to go back to NUS. when i get back, it will be year 3 sem 2 already, and im sure i'll take some time to adapt everything again. life has been really slack here, especially after all the mid terms ended, so when i get back, i need to get used to the super hiong and lifeless semester again. and, there is this big dissertation that's waiting for me. what makes things worse is that i have no idea what topic i want to work on and stuffs. and the stress on CAP, i need a 2nd upper hon degree. although im not far from it, but, i cant ensure that i'll be able to do well and pull the CAP up, what if i do the opposite and pull it down? all i can say is, good luck to me. at the very least, i should be glad that i managed to escape a semester from NUS.

as i have lots of time with nothing much to do over here, i've been thinking a lot. plus, i've taken a corporate social responsibility(CSR) module here, which makes me think even further. what do i want to achieve in future? what do i want to do? what job do i want? and as i think further, i realised, i have no answer to the questions. i do not know what i want to achieve, and what i want in life. i even have no idea as to what job i want. all i know is that i want to earn lots of money and go traveling around the world. i want to be my own boss, just like my parents. it seems really good to be able to travel as and when they like. but, how? how am i going to achieve that? i have no idea at all.

i've been thinking since the start of CSR lesson, and tomorrow is going to be the last lesson, yet, i still do not know what i want to achieve. serious, what's the point of living if you do not know what you want in life(nah, im not going to commit suicide or anything along that line) but i just feel useless.

im glad, really glad to be my papa and mummy's daughter and i love them so so much. they provided me with so much love and care, protected me so well from everything. i feel that i've been so well protected that i only know how to study, eat and play. nothing else. i'm so going to suffer when i start working in future. im not blaming my parents or anything, but i guess this is one of the reason why i do not know what i want to achieve. my personality and character also play an important role. im just a pure lazy pig. often, my words are louder than my actions.

change. i need to change.

i really need to know what i want to achieve and what i want to do in future too.

it's close to 1am now and i'm finally done packing all my stuffs! say yay! hahaha. i can't believe i spent 6 hours to do my last minute packing. 6 long hours which zoomed past before i realised.

well, and i think i almost packed my whole room into the two luggage. initially, when i was told that my luggage limit was 2x20kg, the first thing that came into my mind was... wow, that's a lot! definitely more than enough. and today, after packing my luggage and weighing them, both actually adds up to close to 40kg! seriously, i have no idea what i've packed into the luggage. and i thought everything was essential and important. well, i could have bought many of the stuffs there, but i thought that guelph is a small city and not everything would be readily available. thus, i threw everything into my luggage, which explains for the 40kg luggages (excluding my hand carry). i hope when i return home, most of the things i brought there would end up in the bin so i have more spaces to put new stuffs:DD there's only one problem now, i need to tug 2 luggage, 1 hand carry and a back pack with me when i reach. wish me good luck and may some kind soul help me at some point of time.

talking about how i feel now. i'm totally in a nua and relaxed mood. maybe because tiredness has taken over me. i had less than 7 hours of sleep last night, jumped out of bed in the morning cause i overslept, spent half the afternoon doing last minute shopping and lunching with BFFs, another half doing last minute packing, whole night packing, updating itouch and what-not. when i finally had some time to myself and use the computer, my mum comes in nagging. and i still have to pack my in-a-super-messy-condition room.

this would definitely allow me to have a good sleep on the plane later on.

it's 4.20am right now. i know i should be sleeping, but somehow, i don't feel like sleeping. i have no idea why, but i feel that i still have a lot of things to do although i'm almost done with packing my luggage. oh well.

in 26 hours time, i'll be on the plane heading towards toronto. i'm actually feeling kind of relaxed now, not nervous, not afraid at all. i don't even feel that i'm going to leave home for 4 months. well, i know myself very well, and i'm sure i'll miss home very soon. hahaha.

i've been neglecting my blog for a very long time, it seems that ever since i've started using facebook and twitter, blogging is no longer important and significant. uploading photos are much easier with fb where friends can see, tag and comment. twitter, as a micro blogging platform, has allowed me to update on the go with short and sweet status and update. on the other hand, blogging seems like a chore, with every post looking like an essay.

oh well, i've decided to update this really special space of mine because i'm going for student exchange program in 17 days time and i want to keep track of what has happened there and to share my life there with my friends.

apart from this, i've also turned 21 last month. i thought i should dedicate a post specially for this because it's a transition from a teenager to an adult officially. yes, i'm an adult now, although i still don't feel it.

so there's more posts coming up, and i foresee myself taking a week or longer till my birthday post is up:)

i have been blog-hopping for the past hour or so, and it is really interesting to read on what others have blogged, be it a happy one, disappointed one or even angsty one.

much as technology have invaded personal privacy, i really think that it is a wonderful platform to catch up and follow up on your friends life. even if you're just reading some random blog, you may also be entertained.

on the other hand, i salute those who blogs everyday and share their life with people. first, you need to have a lot of time and motivation to blog everyday. secondly, everyone who have access to your blog/fb/twitter will know your life inside out(if you blog about practically everything), then where's the minimal privacy?

i failed to update this space daily, or even frequently.

school is driving me crazy, projects are driving me crazy, and i need retail therapy.

but at least, i got CNBLUE to accompany me these few days cause they're back with a new album! and i'm totally in love with their songs.

and, i'm so determined to start learning korean language, hoping one day(which i don't really know is when), i can watch korean drama/variety shows without the need of english subs.

i'm here to blog again, i'm going to keep to my self-made promise.

i finally managed to transfer my blog from my old gmail account to the new gmail account. i thought it would be quite hard, cause i've been trying for ages but still failed. and today, it turns out that it's not that hard afterall! its quite easy actually, i guess i'm just pure lazy to really figure it out.

anyways, recess week is coming to an end and it has passed by too quickly already! i have done nothing much and i didn't even catch up with my webcast/revisions at all! i guess i've been playing too hard. and when the time comes for me to start studying, i'll take ages to tune into the studying mode. oh well, that's me.

today, i gave my tuition kid 3.5 hours of maths tuition, just purely maths. i think he's going to go crazy and i think i am too. i really have no idea how to improve his grades, and his mum just had to remind me how bad he had score for his assessment. i think the main problem is the lack of practice and he just doesn't like/have the time to practice. tell me what i should do!

i've decided to revive my blog.

i'll try to update everyday, if not at least once in a few days. this blog contains a lot of memories and if i just abandon it like this, i'll feel that something is missing. when i read through my archives, i realise how much i have grown and matured. this blog in 2004, used to have a lot of vulgarities, and with all the i LuRbe wUzuN, type of typing (dont be mistaken, i still love my wuzun:D). then as time pass by, the way i type became normal, improving gradually. although i still cannot express myself well and i don't use fantastic english, i'll try to improve. yes, try is the key.

well, it's recess week now. and i just spent a fantastic day in USS. i shall blog about my USS trip another time. for now, it's time for running man! ps. running man is a korean variety show which is super funny and i encourage everyone to watch!

so i spent the whole day at home, attempting to do some readings, and some project research.

but, as usual, productivity level was super low and i kept procrastinating, so, i've not done my project report yet, when we're supposed to compile tmr.

haha, time to start chionging at the wee hours again, and hopefully, i'll produce some things out.

i was talking to claudia online when i realised that exams start in less than a month and projects deadlines are reaching! but i still have so many things to be done! can we have like 48hours a day instead of 24hours? i need more time to study, more time to write project reports, more time to sleep!

today, i skipped volleyball training again, which means i've skipped 3 trainings in a row. haha, and guess what we (tingying, amy, leeling and i) ended up doing.... it's shopping! haha, yes, instead of going vball training, we actually went for a short retail therapy at IMM. haha, i didnt expect IMM to have so many factory outlets there, it's worth going there more often:) after that, we went to have dinner at fish n co,there is a new menu and many different kinds of fish n chips are available. furthermore, they actually have this promotion and we'll go there next time to eat the one with promotion. but for today, we actually shared a seafood platter for 2 among the 4 of us. haha, enjoyable:DD

i also bought this body scrub with a 40% discount from body shop, and im super satisfied with it after using it, haha, happy happy.

anyways, i seriously think that without car, i can truly enjoy the 'after-school' life. as in, going out with friends, shopping, eating and stuffs although it's only 2 or 3 hours. i realised that i've been missing out on such stuffs when i drive to school. cause i'll go home immediately to avoid erp or any expensive parking charges. a very good example is what happened today, going IMM was an impulse decision, i decided to go only at the bus stop while waiting for bus to go home. if i were driving, i would have gone home already.

so yes, i should just drive lesser, take more public transport. because i can
1) help my parents save money
2) reduce air pollution
3) reduce congestion
4) improve my social life

but, i will
1) sleep lesser
2) walk more when i take train but can also be seen as exercising by walking
3) waste more time taking public transport

so in conclusion, the pros doesnt really outweigh the cons considering the fact that im a super lazy girl, so i'll still drive. hahaha, but i'll drive lesser!

oops, i realised that by writing the pros and cons and comparing, i seem to be doing my econs and urban planning project. econs project topic- transportation and urban planning project format. haha, this is the effect from doing too much project.

two weeks without my car and im still surviving! haha, im so proud of myself.

so today, i took train to school and finally had a chance to experience the morning working crowd on the train, indeed, the feeling of being squeezed like sardine sucks. but after the train reach cityhall/raffles place, suddenly the whole train becomes so empty. haha, which is kind of nice.

anyways, i realise taking train to/back from school is so much faster than bus. so, goodbye bus33! hello mrt!

hello blog, i think i should update more often and not neglect you.

so what's going on with my life now? study, projects, assignments, that's it. yes, that's super boring, but oh well, what to do? i need to pull my caps up and the only way to do that is to study and revise. okay, not that i do that every single day, but im really reluctant to go out now cause i'll feel super guilty.

so what else has happened?

last friday was night cycling. i said i didnt want to join this year, but i still ended up joining again. hahha, this happens all the time. anyways, we cycled toward the town area and saw alot of singapore's night scenery. all i can say is that, singapore has become a totally different place! she look so awesome at night.

but before that, we went to vivo's 店小二 to have dinner and celebrate amy's birthday. it was a costly meal but, the service there was great and the food is nice too. we can actually visit there again, just that we need to order less stuffs. hahaha.

oh ya, and my car tyre punctured last last thurs. so i actually led a car-less life for more than a week already. quite an amazing feat for me. hahaha, and i realised, taking public transport isn't that bad after all. i will try to drive lesser to school, haha, that is if my dad drives me to sch while i go home on my own:))

as for now, i should be doing

2) SEP research
3) soci readings

but here i am, updating my blog and watching tv at the same time.

first week of school have come to an end, it kind of zoomed past. haha, all the lectures so far are okay, some sounds interesting while some are not. five days week. i really have to get used to it. the only good thing is that my lectures/tutorials are not so cramped, the down side is that some days only go back for one lecture and that lecture is not web-casted:(

oh wells. must really get used to it.

anyways, have been eating good food for the past week. haha, ikea food on tues and fantastic seafood on thurs with our oh-too-clique-ish clique, which meant the hole in my wallet is getting bigger:(

to make things worse, i had retail therapy today with huiqing and more to come tmr with jiali. hahah.

so yes, i met up with huiqing today and had a great time catching up. i realised we're so not updated with each other life, which is kind of bad. there's a need to meet up more often. hahaha, and with the rest too. when's the last time i saw them? january? oh my tian, that's long. hopefully, we will meet up for dinner soon:))

and, haven been meeting up with lamliujun for a long time already huh. time to meet up tooooo.

oh man, today is the last day of my three months long holiday already. three long-and-yet-not-so-long months have passed my just like that.

what have i been doing during these three months? i can only remember that i slacked a tiny weeny bit during may and then it was busy busy and busy for the rest of june and july.

during may, i visited hongkong immediately after my last paper. hahaha, there were still people who have not ended their paper and there i was, already enjoying myself in hongkong. till now, i still miss shopping in hongkong and walking on the streets of a foreign land, which is not so foreign afterall. hahah, then it was slacking thru the month of may, working occasionally and meeting up with friends:D

in june, i helped out with foc, most of the time doing sai kang. haha, but it was a fun and enjoyable experience:) foc came, and i met with this wonderful bunch of freshies. although im like super not close with them, but knowing these freshies are really great.

in july, it was rag rag and rag all the way. haha, staying till super later before going home or just staying over in school for five days straight. although we complained alot alot alot, but i know we kind of enjoy it because of all the accompaniment we all had.

august is now here and i have to tune back to the study mode:( and im overloading this semester with a five day week, double boo boo:((

rag 2010 has ended just like that, one month plus has passed by so quickly, to such an extent that i cant believe my three months holiday has ended and school is starting in three days time.

oh well, time spent in school doing rag always pass by so quickly. cladding a small part of the fortress takes five hours initially then slowly reduces to three hours. then there was the cutting, panting and forming of 4x4 sauces. the amount of saucers that we have used to equivalent to all of us using mac saucers for 80years. that's like dunno how many tens of thousands of it. and there's this sense of accomplishment when i see the fortress completely cladded:)

we were always complaining and i kind of regretted joining rag this year because it was seriously super tiring and expensive (when we're eating 4 to 6 meals a day) but when i heard that our main float broke down and we had to use only the side props instead, my heart sank. all of us, spent so much time doing/cladding/painting etc etc and the float cannot be displayed?! then from far, i saw the 'da bian' on our main float, the main float was being towed in! i started to teared. super super gan dong!

then the dancers performed and we cheered on from the sides. the moment the performers ended all of us went to help to move the side props and i heard that the freshies helped to push the main float off the performing area. i started seeing people crying and my tears started falling down again. this was a few million times more gan dong. and i totally didnt regret joining rag because this feeling cannot be experienced easily.

although towards the end, we didnt win anything. but deep in all our hearts, we all know we've actually won.

and during this period, our clique has grown so much closer. we see each other every single day and even dream of each other in our sleep. i really love this feeling. i cant imagine how i'll miss them when school starts, when i wont see them so often anymore. oh man.

this post was supposed to be posted on june29 but has been kept in my draft for so long. haha.

i was back from DE camp 2010 yesterday, and i am so so so gald that i was part of the MC and an OGL of FIERTE. this is because i've met many wonderful and fun people in the MC and had fun before the camp, while during the camp, i had a super super wonderful and great OG. they were all so independent, so creative and always giving us, the OGLs, surprises everyday.

their cheers are so creative, they were so great in playing games, only wins and draws, their skit is so funny, they were so willing to HTHT and mostly importantly, they're so sweet to us. hahaha, each of us have notes from them after the camp, thanking us and stuffs.

but i was so sad that i didnt interact well and much with the freshies, oh wells, i just hope they will join rag and we can interact more. hahah.

during the camp, i also had a very interesting experience. hahahah, we were on our way to sentosa on the lorry. but on our way there, it started raining cats and dogs. so everyone on the lorry was drenched totally. hahaha, and the lorry was so packed as if we were sardines in the can, haha, so we can only take pails, frisbee, umbrella and caps to cover ourselves. but the worse thing was that.... the bus passengers beside the lorry was laughing at us! they were so evil can. but it was indeed a unique and fun experience.

i cant believe that one month of my holidays have passed:(

but this had been a very fulfilling month filled with activities every single day. i visited hong kong, worked at navy open house and met up with so many friends.

yes, so im really glad that i didnt spend this one month rotting at home. hahah, although i didnt really work and earn money, but being able to catch up with all my friends is really heartwarming:DD

anyways, my results was released 2 days ago and im really disappointed with it:( i guess i really have a very high expectation of myself. but i will definitely do better next sem.

this month of june will be a fun-filled and activities-filled month:))

im finally here to update my small little space here. hahah, it has been more than a week since i came back from hong kong trip. and here i am, going to update a little bit on the trip. i was actually quite lazy about blogging and was waiting for the others to update, but i think everyone are equally lazy. hahahha, i just want to blog about it so that i can read and recall in the future.

during this trip, we visited hong kong and macau. it was my first time going free and easy in a country without any 'adult'. we are considered adult, but adult in my case means my parents or teachers. yes, so it was a brand new experience, which i love it and doesn't mind going again:DD

so, i went with liujun, parveen, eunice and her bf, tengleong. with macau as our first destination. we took tiger airways and it was my first time taking a plane at budget terminal, although it's not my first in traveling on a budget airline.

reached macau at around 10am and checked into the hotel before starting on our 'city tour' haha, visited st paul's ruin, churches and many other places around that area. and had milk tea with pork burger for dinner- a must try in macau although i think the milk tea is too diluted and the pearl is too disgusting. haha. then it was a visit to venetian, fisherman's wharf and sands where we tried on gambling. although i lost 100hkd, but my 100hkd lasted me for around 1.5 hours on the roulette table. hahah. all our transport and traveling in macau was by the free shuttle buses between hotels and ferry terminal. yay, free shuttle bus ftw:)

on the second day, after having breakfast nearby our hotel, we visited another casino which i cant remember the name before checking out and taking the jet ferry to hong kong. we were still discussing where to have our lunch before we exit the hong kong customs. and guess what, the moment we step out, there's a food court out there waiting for us! hahha, totally stunned me. and we had an even greater shock with the portion of food that they serve us. the portion is big enough to feed 2 people. then it was dragging our luggage all the way from ferry terminal to tsim sha tsui mtr station and taking train to price edward station before checking into our hotel, which was totally different from what i expected from the pictures online. we visited the peak and madame tussauds wax meuseum. took photos and even saw 许志安 and 张卫健 who were filming at the wax meuseum. 许志安 is really good-looking. hahah. went into the haunted house kind of attraction in the museum and was almost scared to death. hahahha, so stupid to go and 吓自己. then we got down the peak and visited lan kwai fong but didnt see much. haha, but there was H&M over there and here start my shopping spree in hong kong. hahhaha.

then here comes the third day. we woke up early in the morning, had a very hearty breakfast and headed to disneyland! to me, i think disneyland would be really wonderful if im a 5 to 10 year old kid. but too bad, im too over-aged and i think that the rides over there do not really attract me. but the other stuffs like the show attraction is really nice:)) haha, we were totally amazed when we board the train toward disneyland because everything on the train is related to mickey mouse! even the window is of a mickey mouse shape. hahaha, felt like a total sua-gu then. spent the whole day in disney land and went back to the hotel after that at night because we were really really tired after spending one whole day there.

on the fourth day of our trip, it was shopping day! first, we had dim sum breakfast near our hotel and it was yummy yummy yummy. haha, totally love their carrot cake and fried custard bun. totally awesome! then we took train to mongkok and here starts our shopping spree. saw H&M again when we couldn't find ladies street and there, i bought a dress which i regretted not buying 2 days ago, and the others bought something there too:) then we visited ladies street. their way of selling stuffs is really not suitable for us cause it's really too stressful. hahah. then.... we visited agryle center! it was a recommendation by jocelyn and i really love it there. bought so so so much stuffs and nearly spent finish all the money i bought that day. haha, the stuffs there are really really cheap! much cheaper than bugis street and it's air-conditioned! hahha. at night, we went to victoria harbour, avenue of stars and watched symphony of lights. there was too much mist that night, otherwise, i think that it should be quite beautiful.

next day, we went to the factory outlet mall and shopped around. but there was nothing much over there, so didnt really get anything there. then we went temple street where there's really nothing, and back to mongkok where we went to try the modern toilet restaurant. haha, everything served there was by toilet bowls, basins and etc etc. haha, it's an unique experience:) then we walked around their mall, had yummy-licous dessert before heading back to the hotel and packed up our luggage. it was so saddening that our trip is ending.

on the last day, we finally had hk cafe style breakfast after which we head back hotel to check-out. then me, lj and parveen bade goodbye to eunice and tengleong who are extending their stay. so the three of us headed back to...... agryle center for last minute shopping. although i've shopped once already, i still managed to spend almost all my money there. only leaving enough money for dinner. hahha. then it was time to get back collect our luggage and head for the airport using airport express. dragging our super heavy luggage across the traffic, street, mtr station was really tiring. hahha. had bk for dinner and our flight was delayed. so by the time we reach back spore, it was already close to 130am. and that sums our whole trip which was fruitful and pass by super quickly.

alright, during this whole trip, i learnt/observe/realise some things.
1) hong kong is a really fast paced society. while we're still looking at the menu, they're already standing by the side waiting to take order. and before we order finish, they have already went to the kitchen to order le. and they walk really quickly. haha, i really enjoy the way singapore works, which is less stressful:)

2) hong kong's night life is so much better than singapore. stores in the mall are still not closed at 10plus pm while by 930pm, most stores in singapore are already closed. and their mtr operates till really late. and and and, there are still alot of people on the street when it's already 11plus pm/12am.

3) hong kong is really similar to singapore. i do not feel that im really overseas because the culture is really similar, just that their main language is chinese followed by english whereas in singapore, it's english followed by chinese.

overall, hong kong is equally a nice place as singapore. and i totally do not mind going hk for shopping spree again:DD

it's 3am now and im waiting for 4am to come to head to the airport. and i dun intend to sleep although im feeling tired now. woke up at 8am this morning and i didnt had a good sleep last night. im so sure that i'll sleep my way through the whole flight.

today, or rather yesterday marks the end of my exams. haha, the last paper was okay, majority of what i studied and memorised didnt came up which is super saddening. and i cant believe that there are people who completed the paper early and even left early because i was struggling to finish the paper on time. oh well, i guess those must be the prc who are going to own us.

anyways, after our paper, tingying and i headed to grand cathy to meet the others where we caught ip man2. nice nice action-packed movie, just that it was quite gruesome at some point of time due to the fights, bleeding and stuffs. then it was dinner at nihon mura followed by mj session back in school! hahaha, we couldnt play in the clubroom and so we ended up playing in the lecture theater. and today's the first time we didnt play finish a round or half a round because they kept diao-zeng-ing.

yea, so reached home only at 12am when i've not even packed my luggage. so actually, i just pack finish my luggage not long ago and my parents was pissed with me. so am i. i mean, today's my last paper and i want to enjoy with my friends first. it's not as if i wont be able to pack finish on time or is going to trouble them with my packing or whatsoever. so i just slammed the door just now. feeling so pissed can.

i have never felt this way towards studying chinese before. im so bored of studying and memorising all the terms which i haven never seen before. i should put it this way, i know the characters but when combined together, they are of another meaning which is very technical and there's no easy way of memorising them but just treat it as a totally new word. all i can do is copy and read out really loud to ease the memorising process.

anyways, i decided to take a break from studying and i came out with a list of things that i want to do during my three months long holidays. hahahhaha, and they include..... baking!

so i went to a couple of websites to find recipes and i cant wait to start baking! all the stuffs look so so so so yummy-licious, which makes me hungry now.

haha, but i guess i should also include learning to cook in my to-do list.

haha, doesn't this look so yummy-licious. i shall start with baking cinnamon rolls and make sure that it taste nicer then macs one. hahhaha.

it has been such a long long time since i last updated this little space of mine.

what have i been busy with?

studying studying studying, sleep sleep sleep, eat eat eat and exams exams exams.

this is such a mundane routine.

i cant believe that i still need to go through this for another 3 more years:(

oh wells, at the very very least, im only left with one last paper now, but i totally have no mood to study for it. sian.

on the bright side, we're going hk soon! the end of my exams will also mark the start of our hk trip:DD cant wait for it!

today was my genes and society paper. im so prepared to SU it already. i was so stunned when i saw the paper. 90% of what i studied didnt come out. and i finished the paper in 45mins. walked out of the hall 30mins earlier before the end of paper. broke my own record because i've never handed in any paper earlier. i did that because i guessed more than half of my questions, which are mcq, and there's no point staring at the paper.

now, i need to study hard for chinese because i wont want to waste another SU. i seriously cant imagine how im going to survive with only 3 SU and is required to take 10 electives. i should have chosen electives that i have background in and not trust websites which says which elective is easier or whatsoever. it is so not true.

im feeling so bored and tired. im so sick of studying already. although i've not been studying much everyday but the fact that im studying everyday is just making me feel sick.

so much to the extend that i've decided to give myself a break and study the most minimal today. like maybe an hour of study or something along that line.

anyways, im attending mayday DNA concert later. i've read a news report recently that compared SHE and mayday concert which are both taking place tonight at kallang. the article made mayday concert sound so much better than wow-ish than SHE's. but i still want to attend SHE's one. too bad their concert ticket is seriously too expensive and i've got complimentary for mayday's one. so yea, mayday concert later:)

hi blog, it's three weeks to finals. but i've yet to start any revision. i've been telling myself that im only left with three weeks to make myself worried, to make myself start studying. but apparently, it's not working! especially when lectures have not ended, assignments and projects are not due yet.

i seriously need to start now, study hard, and maintain my cap score.

i've already disappoint my parents. i dun want to score badly and make them even more disappointed. i wonder how long i'll need to take to regain back the goodie good girl image in them.

oh man.

plus, im so addicted to fb games. cant stop myself from clicking 'cafe world', 'fish vile', 'my city life', 'hotel city' and many many more.

..... what can i do?
change my fb password till exams are over? no way.

practice self discipline? this sounds better.

oh man, genes and society is driving me crazy. i took like 2 hours to do 20 mcq qns, with the help of all my notes and textbook and i still scored quite badly. how am i going to go for the exams which is in 3 weeks time? and i still have the essay assignment to chiong which is still untouched till now. i am going to be so dead:((

studies have driven me crazy. im not a fb gamer but recently have been playing alot of such games. so i've been spending alot of time on fb which is not a good thing.

my aim to stay at home and study failed terribly again. i did nothing except watching shows, eat and sleep:(

im watching 败犬女王 and 微笑 pasta at the same time now. haha, 微笑 pasta when im studying and 败犬女王 when i just want to concentrate and watch. hahah, it's the 3rd or 4th time that im re-watching 微笑 pasta already. as i blog now, im actually watching it at the same time:) im trying to see which show can i complete watching first. hahah, i dunno why but i absolutely love watching 微笑 pasta. it gives me a very warm and sweet feeling:)) hahahha.

anyways, i met up with jiali on friday:D went to buy her phone at bedok, and headed to do some shopping at bugis street. i was unable to find any clothes that i really like, but somehow, i was still able to buy 2 tops, a bag and a pair of shoes. hahaa, i'll always be able to get things when i go shopping with jiali, that's why i love going shopping with her:DD hahah, then we went for dinner at jalan besar, nice nice dim sum, including xiao long bao and guo tie for dinner, but the noodle was so spicy that i gave up after eating 2 mouthful. haha, then it was home sweet home:)

hopefully, i'll get to meet her, samantha and xiuwen together next week:)

and on sat, i met up with the B's:DD picked amelia and liting at eunos mrt before driving to fish's house. then met up with fish and laipao there. we were supposed to play ball, but it was raining cats and dogs. so, we ended up eating macs breakfast at harbourfront center, breakfast deluxe meal ftw:) eat talk eat talk eat talk. hahah, we ended up gaining more calories instead of burning them away. walk walk abit before i send amelia and liting home and home sweet home.

sometime, it's really disappointing to see how things have become now. is being given attention really that important? seems like we really dun understand her well, actually i really hope that things can return back to the past, but, it seems even more impossible now.

lastly, i really really hate motorist on the road. seriously, i think it's the same as how motorists will hate drivers. or maybe, im just not skillful enough.

im supposed to be doing my econs webcast. but im feeling so sleepy now after having my dinner, so i've decided to update this small area of mine:)

im waiting for 8pm to come to go for TBT, and i've done nothing much this whole afternoon except my chinese assignment which is due tmr. at the very least, i've completed it after spending 3 to 4 hours on it. doing this assignment really can kill alot of brain cells. tingying and i were discussing non-stop about the answers and i think people around us are finding us funny. hahaha, cause we kept repeating ourselves in order to understand the words better. but im sure they are also curious about what we're doing. hahah, chinese is like so interesting, for now. i know that when exams come, i wont be like this anymore. hahaha.

anyways, im like having post xiaojingteng concert syndrome. i've been listening to his albums for a few consecutive days already.

i have been doing my chinese tutorial and assignment since yesterday and im getting sick of all the various kinds of 词语, what 偏正式 and what 主谓式 and etc etc. i cant imagine how im going to memorise all of them when exams are coming. there are just too much to memorise. but this module is a just memorise module, i think so long i can memorise all the content, i should be able to do well:DD

hahahah, so, i shall be a 宅女 from now till the end of exams. i've calculated, we only have around 6 weeks to the first paper which means... must start all revision already:((

i am like so super duper tired now, and i need to do my econs tutorial which is due tmr, but i've decided to blog instead. haha, haven been like this for such a long time already. the main reason that im blogging now is so that i wont forget what i want to blog.

haha. this weekend passed by so quickly before i knew, and next week is going to be a chiong week cause it's odd week which majority of my tutorials fall on.

on friday, i went all the way back to school to do project, but, we practically did nothing, so i just wasted half my day in school doing nothing constructive. haha, after that, we got to watch free movie- alice in wonderland:DD why free? cause SDE is a very nice faculty. hahahha. i think majority of the people in the cinema are from SDE, and you get to see so many people which you've not seen in school before, so we're like, "they're from SDE, how come never see before?" hahaha, but on a down side, traffic at 6plus is really terrible, horrible and vegetable.

on saturday, i visited it fair with liujun and finally got my long awaited notebook after fighting through the large crowd of people. i had to decide between a good performance one or a visually nice one, and i've decided on the performance one. after visiting the it fair, we went all the way to vivo to collect my free mayday concert ticket. anyone wants to change mayday concert tickets with SHE concert tickets with me??

after that, the both of us went to singapore indoor stadium for xiaojingteng's 洛克先生 mr rock concert.

hahaha, and he was totally awesome. super powerful voice with cute actions and lots of characteristics performance. my favourite segment in the concert was his 舞蹈加唱歌 part cause it was absolutely entertaining. hahaha. and i also love the part where he 自弹自唱 and sang 王妃 towards the end. he was also absolutely cute during all the talking parts cause he dunno what to say and will want to continue singing. hahha. im glad to say, i didnt waste the 100bucks that i spent:DD

went to xiaojingteng's concert autograph session with liujun today.

haha, he look like michael jackson to me with his hair and shades. it was a pity that he didnt sing today but i really like the grip of his handshake. and after he signed the ticket and shake ur hands, he will look at you for few seconds which shocked me. hahah, i've been to so many autograph session but none of the artists will look at you like this, so it's a rather new experience. hahahha, but too bad, wo2 mei2 you3 bei4 ta1 dian4 dao4.

dinner at bbq chicken after that and their 1 for 1 dinner is quite worth it. but the portion is really 1 for 1, cause the chicken they serve is quite a small piece. hahha, but how much can you expect from something that's 1 for 1?

anyways, SHE new album is coming out! and their new album and latest hit is called SHERO. sounds like sher-o right, like my calling my name, but actually it's pronounced as she-ro. hahah, and i like their latest hit. it's kind of like superstar no2. listen to it!

this is the question for my genes and society project-

Your task is to create a brochure designed to help those who have very little or no biology background understand the principle of PCR (polymerase chain reaction) amplification of a gene of interest, i.e. why and how PCR amplifies a gene of interest. You would also like to present advantage(s) of PCR. While readers of the brochure may not conduct PCR experiments for themselves, they are very keen on gaining knowledge of modern biotechnology. after a hectic week in school and when you suddenly can take a short little break before embarking on the pile of projects that sitting up on your desk and is due in few days time, you just cant help but to think how school life was in the past. although it's kind of equally tough, kind of more memory work, i still prefer my studies life in the past.

uni is really not bad, the time-table is really relaxed and with adequate planning, self determination, concentration in lectures and consistency, there are really not much to study. but i really love the feeling of having a cca and playing bball as a team. that explains why i prefer my studying life in the past.

actually i could have joined a cca, but laziness have been taking over me and i dun want to distract myself from my studies. so here i am, blogging about how i miss the team and being in one.

i really miss having tough trainings, miss the team, miss playing bball together as a team. although trainings are tough and we'll complain non-stop but i still love it. it's like a love-hate relationship, which i cant really explain in words, but i believe the team will understand.

it has been such a long long long time since we all played ball together, regardless if it's bball, vball or any other kind of balls, i really hope that one day (soon, i hope), we'll meet up and play ball together! haha, hopefully at sentosa:DD

the mid term tests are officially over today, haha, this is a stressful week with mid terms and tutorials due, im so happy that this week is coming to an end and the weekend is finally here! but, i still need to chiong for a week before i can take a break because of one thing called projects.

anyways, im so excited now because our hongkong trip is kind of finalised already. haha, air tickets booked, hotels booked and we're only short of planning our itinerary. hahaha, i cant wait for may to come! though i need to study really hard for the exams coming up in end april first.

other than that, nothing exciting have been happening recently, my life was just filled with studying and studying. hahaha, and i just realised... i have successfully refrained from playing mahjong! and i shall try to keep this up till the exams are over. but i guess i'll most probably be busy with foc stuffs and working at papa shop during the long holidays.

why am i thinking about all the after exams events? there are 2 more months of studying before i can enjoy. haha.

lastly, today is A's results day, congrats to all my friend who did well and for those who didnt, there will always be a way out in everything:D

whoots, my 2nd post of the year. this will be a very very short post. haha, january is almost coming to an end, and i would say, 2010 will be a very interesting year. within this short period in 2010, many incidents have happened. and they will all leave a very deep memory with me, which i believe, will not forget so easily.

ahhaha, and school, is getting more taxing in terms of studies cus i took a bio elective when i have no bio background and i totally cannot understand what the lecturer is talking about. hahah, and, cny steamboat is coming up, although i've done nothing much. but i believe sem one will be a fun, exciting and tiring semester.

anyways, i'll update the events that have happened during this period when i have the time and mood to do so:DD

2010 is here so soon, time really flies especially in 2009. although a few days late, im still going to sum up my 2009.

2009 had been a really fruitful year,

firstly, i've visited many countries such as china, macau, malaysia, taiwan, korea, usa and canada.

i went macau with my parents, ah ma, aunts and uncles. in macau, i was able to enter the casino, although i was a little sad that they didnt check my ic. and my experience there wasnt that good because i lost money. hahah.

then i was finally able to visit taiwan, a country which i've always wanted to go. but it wasnt enough for me because we had to travel the whole taiwan in 7days. i will return to taiwan again on a free and easy tour.

i remember i got so excited when i see this in the airport. hahaha, loves fahrenheit:DD

and this, my bro had to carry me! i felt so bad cause he's like super super thin and im like so much heavier than him. i just cant stop laughing whenever i see this. i bet this must be a super horrible nightmare for him.

this was in the 101 building where my dad and bro went to the top of the building while my mum and i, or mainly me myself, was busy shopping at the bookstores, buying lot's of magazines home. hahah, i think up till now, there's still some magazines which i haven touch.

apart from taiwan and macau, i went korea with meiqi, kylie and leekiang. this is the first time that i went overseas with my friends only, no school, no teachers, no parents and i lovee going overseas with friends cause it's a totally different experience. hahaha. love them lots:))

lastly, was usa and canada which i had described in my previous post. we get to see new york and understand that the new york we see is totally the same as in tv shows and movies. i totally dun mind visiting this two countries again.

secondly, apart from travelling overseas, i have also finally received results for A's and gotten myself a place in nus:D although my results wasn't really good, but being able to get into a local uni was already very good for me. with this, i entered nus and started on a different phase of my life. i went for orientation camp, known kronos, who now placed a very important role in my uni life. without them, i think i would not have joined rag and danced, and get to know more people and seniors in sde and re. then during the orientation camp, there was h1n1 where we were all quarantined and the camp was stopped, that was not all, there is then the 7days home quarantine which i'll not forget and blah blah blah. hahah, this is a very great start to my uni life. hahaha.

okays, so that basically sums up my 2009. of course, i have also kept in contact with many many friends and im really really glad that our friendship didnt change despite us not meeting frequently. thank you to all my friends for being part of my life in 2009, especially my bf cum bff, lamliujun:DD ur message was really touching, and love ya!

and so for now, my resolution for 2010:
-to do well in my studies
-join a cca
-maintain all the friendships
-to find the one

this post below was completed on 30/12/09. but will be posted only today because i finally found time to search for pictures and figure out how to use a macbook proper. so here it goes.

i've decided to blog now after defeating the lazy bum in me. hahahha.

i was back from the united states four days ago on christmas morning. so i spent the whole of christmas eve on the plane and the rest of christmas sleeping at home. but the good thing is, im not affected by jet lag, and my dad has still yet to overcome his jet lag, so he will knock my room door in the middle of the night and ask me to sleep and etc etc. haha.

anyways, the whole trip was fun, cold and yet tiring because we have to change hotels everyday and the lowest temperature can go up to -35 deg. but the most fun part of the whole trip would have to be the last two days cause it's shopping day!

we practically shopped the whole day and you can see how my dad's face changes colour. from white, red to dark, darker and darkest. hahahah, why? because we shop too much. especially my mum who kind of went berserk in the coach factory outlet. in the end, we came back with lots of coach bags cause the bags over there are really so much cheaper than the ones sold in singapore. so i got myself a wallet and bag:D apart from bags, we also bought shirts, jeans, and watches. the shirts that im really happy of is the 'i <3>

in conclusion, the trip was really an eye-opener, and fun. (how can i say otherwise because my parents spent so much money during this trip) hahah.

the time now here is 1130pm and everyone around me are all asleep. and there's nothing much to watch on the tv. im so glad that there are free wifi here in the hotel so that i still can watch videos on youtube. hahah.

anyways, im now in canada, toronto. the weather here is also freezing cold. the temperature now should be around -15 or even more. today, the amount of clothes that i wore is the max alr. i wore 5 pieces of clothes which includes a long john, a blouse, 2 sweaters and a coat. then for my bottoms, i wore 3 pair of pants- long john, tights and jeans and 2 pair of socks. plus 2 pairs of gloves and a ear-muffs. can you imagine how cold it is over here. it is definitely a very very different experience that cannot be experience in singapore even if we visit the snow world.

i totally didnt realise that my itinerary includes canada and it makes up half of the whole trip. so here i am, in canada. today, our bus drove past the university ave and i saw so so many asians on the road. it makes studying overseas doesn't feel so scary over here. thus, i told myself that i want to go on a overseas exchange program and i shall study hard, and apply for it diligently. i want to know how it feels like to be studying in a different environment. im sure it will be an eye opener:D

we will be travelling to another city tmr and it will be such a long long bus ride again:(

hello, im now blogging from washington d.c. and the time now over here is 1020pm. but in singapore, i dunno what's the time now, probably in the morning. no wonder there's no one online. hahaha.

actually, i dunno what to blog about but this is the first hotel that has internet access and so, here i am blogging. i have sat on the plane for one whole day, 24 hours including 2 hours of transit. this is really scary because imagine yourself being constrained to one small small seat for such long hours and going to the loo is also very hard because you are not seated near the aisle. furthermore, we had 2 to 3 meals of breakfast on the plane due to the different time zones. i felt like a pig cause during this 24 hours, we will either be sleeping or eating.

after reaching, we had a tour around new york, manhatten- fifth avenue, times square, rockefeller center etc etc. i can only say, new york is truly a city that never sleeps and it is really cool. haha, the buildings there is also really really nice, which is very different from the buildings in singapore.

then we also visited liberty island where statue of liberty is located. it feels really different to view it through the television and personally. then there's the wall street, ground zero and many more all in new york.

then today, we came to washington d.c. where we visited many monuments, white house and etc etc.

and lastly, the weather here is getting colder and im getting tired already. so, bye. updates again soon:D

im blogging using my new macbook:D but i've got this feeling that it wont be long before i pass it to my brother. hahah, im totally not a mac user.

i was supposed to go for trixie's birthday party, but im not feeling really well and so i had to stay at home. i hope i'll get better by tmr, otherwise i'll have trouble passing thru the customs. mentioning about tmr, i have yet to pack my stuffs yet! hahaha, i think i should try to stay awake tonight so that i'll get used to the time in america. on the other hand, i have no trouble sleeping at any time, so it shouldn't be a problem to me.

i have been spending the past few days outside. on tues and wed, i went out shopping with mummy to buy winter wear and furniture for my house.

and on wed night, i went over to jocelyn's hall to stay over together with laipao. it's the first time i drove all the way alone to another end of singapore. ntu's hall is really really nice. haha. but before that, we went clubbing at phuture. it's my first time drinking till the point where i know that one more sip and i'll puke. it's kind of a unique and nice experience.

we went back to joy's hall after that and slept till 11am. woke up, wash up and off we go to chinatown to check out the prices for bangkok free and easy trip. it was so expensive and so totally not worth it. thus, we cancelled the idea of going bangkok. then we came up with the idea of going malaysia. but, it was rejected by fish and amelia. so, the conclusion was... to come my house and have bbq then maybe stay over. so sad right, from taking plane, to taking coach and ended with no need any transportation cause it will be at my house. hahah, but it doesn't really matters cause we will still be having fun together, as a team:D the B's then had dinner at lagoon after checking the prices at chinatown. it is indeed only the B's, B for braces. oh well, some things will change after time, cause it's not up to our control.

then on friday, i went back to school to play badminton with our usual few from kronos, followed by cny meeting. we were supposed to watch feng yun 2 after that, but me and tingying were so tired that we decided not to watch so i went to liujun's house to collect my hard disk and psp, eat cheesecake and watch tv, while the rest played mahjong in club room. hahah, we are indeed mahjong addicts.

i'll be flying to new york for holidays 2 weeks:D so i'll be missing fahrenheit trip to singapore! so so sad, why must they come when im not in town:( plus, i'll be missing so much things including kylie's and bel's birthday celebrations and christmas celebrations:( people! can we celebrate christmas on boxing day? wait for me to come back first! i dun want to miss out any celebrations, or outings!

time really flies during the holidays. it has already been a week since the exams ended, and i doesn't seem to have done much.

last saturday was s13 outing. had buffet at nihon mura (if tt's how you spell it) to celebrate isa and samu's birthday, followed by watching new moon, and supper before liujun and suxin came my house. you guys should be honoured cause you guys are the first among my friends to visit my new house. hahah, watched 500days of summer till 4am and played mahjong in the afternoon after waking up. at the rate im playing mahjong, i'll turn into a mahjong addict soon. hahaha.

i finally exercised today! but it's just an hour or so:( today, i went back to school to play bball with the usual few from kronos.

haha, it was quite enjoyable, but i totally suck today. i think that's because i haven been playing bball for a long time already. the last time i played should be when i met up with the B's to play at amelia house. oh well, i will try to play more this holidays, cus i still love playing bball.

but too bad we could only play for an hour before the rain started:(

so guess what.....

we went back to sde to play monopoly and mahjong! hahhahhah. we're so addicted to mj now. plus, today was so much better than mon night. we managed to play one round in 3hrs time.

our next plan will be badminton and buffet next week! but it's kind of weird to exercise first, then eat alot cause it defeats the purpose of exercising.

anyways, i'll be meeting s13 tmr. time really flies, we haven had class outing for a month plus already, but it just seem like last week when we went sushi teh for dinner. it must be the effects of examinations. sushi buffet tmr, and hopefully, i'll get to watch new moon:D

THE HOLIDAYS ARE FINALLY HERE!

our well-deserved one month holiday. hahah, im going to pack my day with activities, activities and activities.

the first semester passed by very very quickly athough studying was really tough. soon, bidding will start again and semester two will begin. this cycle that i've just gone through will repeat all over again. but for the time being, i will enjoy my holidays till results are out.

my paper ended on monday and we had a k session at teoheng, dinner at astons followed by overnight mahjong-ing at timothy's house. the mj session was fun and irritating at the same time. haha, fun because, it's mahjong! irritating because some people just cant stop winning. hahhah. now, i know how irritating i was the last time i won non-stop. hahah. i hope more of such sessions will take place soon.

now, im busy with packing my room, packing my stuffs, catching up my shows and meeting-up! whoots, this is such an enjoyable, although meaningless, life. haha, but i still love it:D

im not exactly in a very good mood. exams are coming, im studying very unproductively, and there's not much time left. i still have too many things to complete. and most importantly, im tired. very tired. i hope exams will end soon. actually, i know that it will end very soon, but still, i just cant help thinking about it.

i know that im not putting in enough effort, and there are just too many people out there who are smarter, who are much more hardworking than me.

but what to do? i finally got a place in university after struggling thru my jc life, and im not going to give up that easily. i will get my honours and not just a bachelor. i will not let this first sem exam demoralise me.

studying in school today was very unproductive, i only managed to study 2 topics for pf. i cant memorise at all, nothing goes into my brain despite reading the notes over and over again:( it must be due to the weather recently. rain rain and rain non-stop, makes it so comfortable for sleeping. good thing i did not study at home, otherwise, i dun even think i can complete 2 topics. haha.

anyways, chuanrui uploaded video that he he taken in china onto fb. and, i miss the china days so much. the 2 weeks of fun and laughter, 2 weeks of craps, 2 weeks of carefree life. and it has been close to 2 years already! time really flies. during this 2 years, we took our A's, we graduated from tpjc, we stepped into another stage of our life.

time will always zoom past us before we know, so, we should cherish what we have now and be grateful for what we have. haha, i learnt this from wuzun:DD this is something which he has been repeating on his blog for all his posts. but it's true, so everyone should not take what we have for granted, and im going to learn to treasure what i have:))

today is the first day that i've started revising the whole day. the last few days was spent not only on revision but also on doing project. and today, we finally submitted our last project of the semester!

woots, one more thing off our shoulder.

but, it also means the start of revision fully.

i've been studying in school till late for a couple of days already. and guess what, im feeling tired. it seems like the A's period is repeating all over again. all the late studying everyday. and im getting sick of it. i dun have the motivation to study, but looking at others who are working hard, i have no choice:( i want to hit my own target.

furthermore, i have too many things to complete! 5 core modules is no joke. but im not the only one, everyone is in the same situation.

im moving house next week, but i have totally no mood to do my packing. there are so much stuffs in my room which i think i wont be able to finish packing in time:( someone please come and help me pack my room!

lastly, i went for singapore hits award with tingying last friday. and it was superb! i paid 31bucks including sistics fee and it was really worth it! the whole ceremony seems like a concert cause all the artists sang at least 3 songs. mayday and SHE really made everyone super high. liujun's jam singing was wohooo. made ty and me have goosebums. 我们被他电到了! haha, of cause, there were other artists such as huangjinglun, xujiaying, liangwenying, zhangyunjing and tanya, who sang really really well. all the artists who went that day were 实力派 ones, so i really think that this year's hits award is really a success. although we didnt had a really good seat, im still gald we went cause it was really value for money! hahaha.

and on sat, i wanted to go for xiaojingteng's autograph session. but, i've decided that studies is more important, thus, i gave up the idea of going. but guess what, tingying says, she saw on youtube the video of the autograph session, and there's not alot of people who went! oh my tian. if only i know, i would have gave up studying and went! so irritating. hahahaha.

oh well, we'll start saving money to go for his concert together:D

haha, this is a relatively long post compared to my previous few. not bad not bad, i'll try to keep this up. hahahha.

hello blog,

i was supposed to be studying today, but i ended up slacking most of the time. how great, how great.

tmr will be the start of e-learning week, but i will still need to go back to school for tutorials. and that's not the worst. the worst is, i have to go back for projects on days which i have no tutorials and that means, going back to school for the whole week:(

but, no complains about it cause i'll most probably spend my time slacking at home if i dun go school. going to school might be so much better.

i think i should update, but im lazy. so i'll updat briefly.

yesterday was amy's bday celebration at macs. went there and had macs. im so not going to eat macs soon cause i'll getting sick of it. haha. then after that, was a mahjong session with jolyn, timothy and peng chong. haha, mama jo was so lucky to get shi san yao and that's the first time i see someone getting a shi san yao.

friday was supposed to be a studying session with lj. but i guess it was very unproductive for both of us. we just somehow cant get the studying momentum.

thursday was back to tpjc, with lj and nice. but mdm goh left even before we reach! so, we ended up seeing no teachers. but i saw amelia, mag and jamie in school:) then it was to popeyes for dinner where samu, parv, christina and jordon joined us. parking at the airport is seriously not cheap. next time, taking a public transport will be so much better.

wed was shopping day with tingying, peng chong and timothy! haha, i even took bus to school so that i can go town to shop after lessons. actually, it was more like present searching for amy. haha, but the most funny thing of the day will most probably be how long we took to find sushi tei in taka and walking round taka to find the restaurant even though we're super hungry already. and, we finally found it! haha, i didnt expect it to be outside the building.

tues was out with mummy, and slacking at home.

lastly, mon was the meet up dinner with bel and audrey. haha, it was good to meet up and have a catch up session:DD

looking at what i've been doing for the past week, my mummy and papa complained that i've been going out too often! so i have to be a good girl now.

not only that, i need to study hard and research well for my projects!

i changed blogskin, but it's something really similar to the old one. so i doubt anyone will really notice the change. haha, but i really like the design and layout of this blogskin, and that explains why it's not of something really different.

i haven been updating for a really long time. there have been times when i really feel like blogging, but when i start to sit in front of the com and wanted to start typing, i dun feel like updating. it's has been like this for days, so i've decided to update today. haha.

today, i met up with shuchun and huili and had dinner at cafe cartel. too bad geok teng cannot make it today. we're a really weird bunch of people, we will only manage to meet once a year. haha, dunno why. but it's feels good to catch up with them, updating each other with what's happening in our lives. whoots, my kaypo-ness was aroused today. hahahha. hopefully, we can meet again next week with geok teng((:

and during the last weekend, saturday, i met up with the B's- the braces gang. actually, i dun like the word gang, can we change to clique? haha. braces clique sounds better. haha, so we went amelia's house and was supposed to play tennis. but it was raining, so we ended up talking, eating chips, going gym and went to play bball after the rain stops. sexymon laipao made us laugh non-stop during the games. then it was dinner at chomps chomps. we ate ALOT.

okays, by right, i shouldnt get so excited just over a book. but, i can to the extent of missing their pre-order dateline and i even dont know that they're going to release this book until the book is released in taiwan. so i started searching all over the net to find places which sell this book in singapore. and i started to read all their news again. hahhaa, i even watched the shows which they went to publicise for their first album which was like 2 years ago. hahaha:D

i am so going to get the book real soon cause popular is selling! hahahha.

oh my, i feel so childish, foolish and stupid all over again.

i dunno why this is happening, but i seem to be so irritated by everything she says. in the past, i dun rebut no matter what she says, i'll just keep quiet and listen. but now, i'll just rebut very harshly to what she says. and i'll always sound very harsh when i talk to her on the phone. i know this is very rude of me, but i seriously cannot help it.

maybe it is the way she put things across to me. she may not mean it that way, but somehow it just came out that way.

hello blog,

the 2nd week of school has ended. for me, i still feel as if im having semi-holiday cause tutorials have not started and im still watching dvds at home:)) haha. but starting from next week, i'll be getting busier, with tutorials starting, ifg training (although it may just be an afternoon or just one night), cca/ifg try-outs and etc etc. but... i still hope i can meet up with people.

haha, i've been trying very hard to keep myself awake during lectures, and to do that, i went popular to buy more colour pens, haha, so as to make my lecture notes look as colourful as possible. and, i succeeded! i managed to keep myself awake for more lectures! haha, so proud of myself. hahahah.

results for tutorial time slot was out on monday night, and im having four day week instead of three. i have to go school on fridays for an hour of tutorial only. so sad right, cus i cant find any time for the stupid stats lecture and i cannot ps tingying. haha.

anyways, i finally exercised today! haha, i went for ifg bball trg. actually it's not really a training, it's more of just playing games cus all we did was abit of drills and started playing half court games. it has been ages since i last played ball, and, i miss playing ball with the old birds:((

i miss all our craps during lessons, all the ponning of lectures at times, completing tutuorials during lectures, playing cards/bridge during breaks, playing bball and vball after lessons and even during breaks, going for lunch together after school, studying in the library, chionging all the econs stuffs, celebrating each and everyone of our bday, the cake facial and etc etc etc.

it is time for blogging again:)

first thing, say goodbye to my short-lived 3 weeks bangs. haha, i realise that bangs is not really suitable for me. so im back with my old hairstyle. haha, although it's boring, but it suits me better:DD

second thing, i went for ndp preview on sat with eunice, parveen and khoohoekang. haha, it's the first time that i went for ndp after the one in pri5. although it's not on the actual day, it is already good enough. haha, im just disappointed that the fireworks is not really that magnificiant and the planes, i assume F-16 or 14?, did not really perform alot of the flying around and stuffs. they just flew past liddat. but overall, it was not bad. haha. i bet there will definitely be more on the actual day itself, if only papa could get us tix for the actual day.... haha.

third thing, i went clubbing for the first time on friday night! hahaha.
actually, the girls went sentosa in the morning, and i went too. but not with them though, i went with kronos/batman for our o week. played games, had fun and had a second layer of sunburn though my skin is still peeling from the last time i went sentosa.

haha, i left at around 3plus 4 to join lj, nice, melly and sy. but melly and sy had to leave earlier, leaving with me, nice and lj. after sentosa was shopping for gifts around vivo before heading to clarke quay for dinner at manhatten fish market and meeting parv. the food there is yummy yummy. haha. after which we headed to zicar(?)/rebel/lunar. yes clubbing. haha, i made friend with the robot at the dancing floor! haha, cus i cant dance for goodness sake and all i did was shake my head the whole night, so the robot is my bestfriend for the night cus i look better standing beside it. hahhaha, at least i dun look so still. hahaha, although i cant dance at all, nice and parv did a so much better job than me. haha, the two of them are like wohoooo, sexyyyy. haha, and the image of parv dance still cannot get off my mind lah. hahha. but i really think that girls cannot go clubbing alone, cause it is really dangerous. you never know how despo guys can get, especially those botak ones. scary.

anyways, there's rag practice tmr:(( and i starting to dread rag practice cus i really cannot dance at all. it's like a torture to me. i seriously regret joining dance. i should have joined float and im sure i'll be much more happier. oh well, on the other hand, rag is on saturday and i just have to hang on for another 6days. im sure it will leave me alot of good memories after it's over, especially with the friends i made:D

recently, i have been super busy. mainly due to tuition and rag.

okay, rag is like nus version of chingay and i'll be performing, so i have to go down to sde for practices a few times per week. this week, i went down for four days. and more the next week due to orientation and practices. haha, rag is actually getting more fun as i know more people and as the practices become more effective:))

so, im really sorry to my BFFs cause we had to cancel our meet-up today due to rag practice. we'll meet up soon huh, but i dunno when it will be cus the next two weeks will be even more packed and busy with orientation and rag practices.

july8- my birthday was spent with my family, my bf lamlj, and the shop jie jies by eating stemboat at home.

july9- and the next day, i went out with my group of dearest girls, we went k at teoheng followed by dinner at astons. had a bday celebration for me and jas. no pics for this cus they're all with the rest and i haven got it from them. but the day out with them are always that enjoyable. haha, really love their company sooo much. hahaha.

july11- and on saturday, i went to zhangdongliang's AS at heeren. the number of fans there were like.... really little compared to fahrenheit's. but that's really uncomparable huh.

then at night was mr yanyu's 21st bday party. so the girls went early to help out to deco and stuffs. had dinner, talked, took photos and etc etc.

july12- and the next day, was jasmine's bday! so meiqi, hying and I had this super last-min surprise for her. we bought hotcake for her and went to her house in the morning to surprise her. haha, it was supposed to be us surprising her while she's still asleep. but no one opened the door when we rang the doorbell. so we had no choice but to call her to open the door. haha, and im really glad that she loved it. haha:DDD no pics too cus photos are not with me yet.

then the next few days are rag practices, until sat, july18 which is swimming day with fish and laipao at fish's house. it has been a super long time since i swam and after swimming for some time, i felt that my whole body was aching! haha, super super lousy me. maybe i should go swim more in future so i'll be fitter and less body aches.

and at night was home for bbq for val's bday celebration. and joan's one too cus her bday is just around the corner.

then more rag practices on weekdays until wed, july22 which is kronos sentosa outing! we met in the morning for breakfast at long john before buying food and headed to sentosa. it was kronos one month anniversary, so we had red eggs thanks to amy! we ate, played games and talked. as it was pc's bday, we had cake cutting, cake smashing, cake facial for everyone, thrown into the sea and etc etc. it was a really fun and enjoyable day:DD dinner was at vivo's kim gary and we had some wine at the rooftop after that. talked till 1130pm then it was home sweet home.

since i have nothing to do online, and im still waiting for my hair to dry before sleeping, i've decided to update my poor blog.

alrights, so i've spent one whole week quarantined at home and going thru the same routine everyday. it's like wake up, eat, watch tv, sleep and eat again. this routine just went for one whole week. then, after my quarantine, i felt like a freeee bird. haha, it's not as if i didnt spent alot of my time at home, but the feeling of being confined in a room is definitely not fun. haha.

so after my quarantine ended on wed, i went out on thursday! okays, i went k with lj and chris before going marina square for some 'shopping' with lj. but we ended up with nothing, and this is bad because uni is starting soon and i dun have a lot of clothes to last me for long before i have to start repeating wearing the same clothes:(( so i need to go for more shopping! especially when gss is still on, haha. we then had dinner at pizza hut followed by the checking out of prices for some stuff before it's home sweet home.

on friday, i met up with the old birds for k again. haha, the previous day i sang for 3 hrs and on friday, we sang for 4 hrs. haha. after that was dinner at astons. and we had a plan for next week which sounds pretty exciting to me, haha, but i need to get permission from my dad first. so hopefully things may turn out pretty okay and we can have lots of fun! haha.

after dinner at astons, i rushed down to chinatown for kronos outing and i had a second round of dinner at deli veggie, a nice vegetarian restaurant whereby the food dun look fake to me. haha, as in their chicken really taste like chicken. haha. ate for quite long before heading to plaza sing for our midnight movie. caught transformers and... i didnt fall asleep in the movie! what a big accomplishment for me cus the timing was really late and i normally will fall asleep during movies. i feel so proud of myself, haha, but the movie was quite nice too! just that i find there's too much fighting between the robots which may make me quite sian at times. the movie ended at 230am and by the time i cab home, it was already 330am. however, i didnt sleep immediately. haha, i only fell asleep at 5am:(

and i had to wake up at 830am the next day! so basically i only had 3 hrs plus of sleep last night. i was supposed to be feeling very tired in the morning, but as im going to drive to nus in my new car, i felt super awake. haha, my car is so much nicer to drive than my dad's car cause i dun feel so stressed! haha, besically that's the only good thing cause it's so much smaller. had some cors talk which lasted for 3hrs plus? sit until my butt pain. haha, uni is sooooo mafan, so much bidding to do and so much planning to do. hearing the caps thing already sound so stressful. hopefully everything turns out to be easier than it looks. then we had lunch at clementi before i head home for the bbq at night.

the bbq at night is an early birthday celebration for me and loong cause the both of us are born on July8:DD yea, so my cousins, aunt, uncles and even ahma turned up. it's like a family gathering, just that there's more people of our generation. haha. and my bday cake has one big and eight small candles cus we cant find the other candle, haha, so im forever 18 years old. hahaha. the whole night was all about talk talk talk and eat eat eat.

when i can't move house, i wanted to move house so much. but now, when it's confirmed that i'll be moving house, i can't bear to leave my current house! this is the house that i've ever lived in for the longest time, and everytime i come home from overseas, there's this special smell here which cannot be found in any other places. im not the only one who thinks so, haha, my whole family thinks the same way too:DD

on the other hand, i've started looking at houses with my parents, and i love looking at other houses. hahaha, plus plus plus, there might be a possibility that i'll be moving back to the condo if we can't find a new house in time. and this means i'll be able to use the facilities there, hahahha.

oh oh, anyways, nus rejected my application for hostel. so no hostel for me, but papa will be getting me a car. haha.

today, i drove my dad's car!

haha, so papa is my first passenger. i started driving round some ulu carpark in east coast park before heading onto the highway. it's the first time i hit 80km/h, haha, and only one word can describe it and that's... SUPER SHIOCK!

then, i drove at night for the first time, from liujun's house back home. haha, i bet drivers from other cars must be commenting that how can someone driving a BMW drive super slow. haha, yes, i was driving really slow, but my dad says it's okay cus the triangle sign is very 'big'. haha, people have to understand that someone like me is driving.

alrights, i think im feeling so excited because today is officially the first day i drive after getting my license. maybe when this excitement dies, driving will not be as fun and exciting already. haha.

now, i want to drive more, and i think i'll be driving again tmr. hahaha, driving feels really different when you're still a learner and when you passed driving:DD

i've been feeling quite happy and accomplished recently. haha, mainly because i managed to get into a local university and... I'VE PASSED MY DRIVING TEST!

haha, i still can't believe it that i've passed. i think that im just pure lucky to get a nice tester and a good route which don't require me to travel alot, haha, so i was able to hide alot of my flaws. im also glad that i didn't screw up the circuit stuffs although i had a little trouble doing parallel parking. hahaha, happy happy me.

i know that non of my instructors will read but still, i want to thank them lots. especially those whom i argued with and those who had to listen to my rubbish. haha, THANK YOU SOOO MUCH:DD

now, im kind of looking forward to driving my dad's car. hahahhaha.

i finally received the long awaited letter yesterday from NTU. However, it's not the course i wanted. i know it sounds contradictary, but im feeling sad and yet relief.

im feeling sad because i didnt get into the course that i pinned so much hope in. i really thought i stand a high chance in getting into sports sci and management cause it's such a new course. but apparently, the cut-off is quite high.

on the other hand, im feeling relieved because i no longer need to worry about furthering my studies overseas. but but but, im not really sure whether economics is really for me. im really afraid that i may regret my choice.

on a second thought, i dun hava a choice. unless NUS sends me a letter which i think is possible, but might not be any course that's much better.

oh well, i should just wait and see.

the more i dun see the letter coming in, the sight of me furthering my studies overseas is getting clearer and clearer.

but i dun want to go overseas! cause i dun want to leave my family and friends. i also cannot admit that 我输不起. people who knows me well know that i can't afford to lose to people. i dun believe that im not as well compared to other people. i dun believe that my results can't get me into a local uni. i really dun want to appeal cause that would mean that my results is real bad. but my result is actually not really that bad that i cant get into any courses. it's not as it i chose all those super competitve courses. there are also some ulu courses that i chose.

argh! i seriously hate it when i hear that people have received letters from both schools but yet im getting nothing. wth wth wth.

haha, i was packing some of my stuffs and i saw some autograph books that was written during the primary school days. there was this particular one that was locked and i lost the key. so i asked my brother to pry open the book and he managed to remove the lock cause it was some cheapo book that comes with a lock. then i started reading thru the book and i cant stop laughing.

haha, those were the times when we were all still so childish. really, it was really funny reading them all. i cant imagine what have i written in other people's book. haha, autograph book was real popular at that time that i easily have 3 to 4 books at home and i dunno how many times have i ask the same person to write for me. maybe it's like 1 to 2 books per year so that makes it 1 to 2 times per year. haha, the part i enjoy reading most is the message and friends part, where you rank all your friends. and, that's when you see all the clicks and stuffs. all the sabo-ing parts.

what if.... i start asking people to write in my autograph book now? haha, will anyone be willing to write? hahahahha, it will be a great way to see how we've all grown up.
